Reversing the disease of diabetes is totally possibleDiabetes, as it is treated in the conventional model (ie. Drug therapy), is thought to be a chronic and degenerative condition (never goes away and always gets worse); only to be “managed” by drug therapy. It is thought by most, in the conventional model, that the worsening of the disease is inevitable and that the complications (heart disease, blindness, limb amputations, kidney failure) are sure to happen. My experience has taught me that if a diabetic were to ask a doctor who treats diabetes in the conventional model if it were possible to reverse the disease process, most if not all of them, would say that it is not possible to reverse diabetes, that our only hope is to “manage” it the best we can with drugs.
Reduce and eliminate the need and dependency for medicationThis type of response is utterly unfortunate because I, as a health care provider, have first-hand knowledge that reversing the disease of diabetes is totally possible. I have seen patients able to reduce and eliminate their need and dependency for medication across the board. Their blood sugars lower and become more stable than when they were on drugs. I have seen them able to lose weight without exercise and dramatically increase their energy levels and quality of life. I have even seen diabetics reverse their disease process all the way to the point that they are no longer a diabetic.
